Buckaasuura

Arya, aka Money, is a lawyer who will do anything for money. When he gets an offer that he cannot refuse, he has to make a lot of choices to lead the live he wants. Will Arya get to lead a happily ever after with a wealthy future?

Buckaasuura brings together the team of Karvva again. There has been a lot spoken about it, given the team has roped in top stars to promote the film. Does the film live up to the hype? It does, to some extent. Although, there is also a little lacking. The makers have tried to work around a film with smart writing.

How much does one get consumed by his or her love for money? This is what Buckaasuura tries to answer. The film begins on a rather rickety note, with some lackluster comedy sequences. But it soon picks up pace. The film has some interesting twists thereafter. There are some doubts and questions thrown in, though the makers try and answer them all with the climax that catches one by surprise.

Buckaasuura has a tight script, barring a few unwanted comedy scenes. But one leaves the cinema hall feeling like there is something lacking. The writers have clever dialogues and have tied up the loose ends, though. V Ravichandran, in a negative role, impresses with his swagger and style. Rohitt has given the film his best and it shows.

Buckaasuura could have had a lot more going for it. But it does still manage to retain the interest of the audience for a sizeable chunk of the film. If scripts of a hero's brain over the brawn winning battles works for you, then you might just enjoy this one.
