Sidda wants to provide basic amenities to his village in Mandya, by becoming a gram panchayat member, but he faces several ordeals to complete his mission.

The movie unfurls with Sidda (Sathish Neenasam) in his childhood days, deciding to take on gram panchayat president Bacchegowda, who has been unanimously elected several times. On the other hand, Sidda's mother wants her son to be responsible and get married, but finding a girl for him becomes a herculean task, since Sidda is jobless. She approaches marriage broker Shamanna to search for a girl, but Sidda doesn't get a right match. Finally, cupid strikes, when Sidda falls in love with Nandini (Rachita Ram) at first sight. But she is initially reluctant to accept his proposal. The love story takes a twist when the broker gets to know that Sidda is in a relationship with his own daughter. .

The story gets more intense in the second half, with election fever taking over the village, as well as Sidda's love story taking many twists and turns. Will Sidda get married to his dream girl and win the elections?

Debutant director Mahesh manages to impress in his first outing by churning a commercial potboiler with the right mix of comedy, catchy dialogues and action to make a it a perfect weekend watch .The screenplay could have been tighter, though. Sathish Neenasam and Rachita Rama impress in their roles as Sidda and Nandini, respectively. Ravi Shankar does his best as Bacchegowda. Go and watch this film if you like village love stories, and the Mandya dialect.
