Avanirabekittu unfolds across multiple timelines, gradually piecing them together like a complex puzzle that only reveals its full picture in the final moments. The story begins with a boy livestreaming an attempt to sell an old yellow Ambassador car on social media. During a video call with a garage, they make a chilling discovery — a kidnapped girl is hidden in the same car. This sets the stage for the backstory of two key characters.

We are introduced to Bhavya (Sowmya John), who works at a mystery shopping company, T&T Marketing, led by her boss, Master (Jai Simha). Devu (Bharath Hassan), the newest team member, joins under strict conditions set by Bhavya. Their dynamic is often tense, with Devu frequently appearing frustrated. Parallelly, Devu is haunted by the recurring mention of a mysterious name — Theertha. He experiences sudden flashes and is driven to uncover who or what Theertha is, adding an element of psychological intrigue.

Running alongside this narrative is a subplot involving Kotiyamma, an elderly woman carrying a trunk full of money, on a mission to rescue her kidnapped husband. As these storylines progress, they intersect in unexpected ways, culminating in a climax that attempts to tie all threads together — most crucially, the identity of Theertha.

The film tries to handle many storylines and ideas at once, but this ambition ends up working against it. The way the story is told feels scattered and can be confusing, with the main purpose only becoming clear in the final moments. Until then, viewers may struggle to follow the changes in mood, timeline, and characters. Some of the acting also feels over-the-top at times, which takes away from the overall experience.

However, Avanirabekittu does have its strengths. The cinematography by Devraj Poojary and Prithvi Malur is a visual treat — every frame is carefully composed and aesthetically rich. The standout aspect of the film is undoubtedly the music. Lokii Tavasya delivers both memorable songs and a compelling background score that significantly enhances the film’s emotional and atmospheric depth.

If you enjoy layered, suspenseful narratives and are patient enough for a slow-burn payoff, Avanirabekittu may be worth your time. Just be prepared for a confusing ride that rewards more in style and sound than in storytelling clarity.
