Story: Director Karthik has selected a good horror story but fails in transferring the horror element to the audience. It is a drama laced with suspense with many turns and twists which could have been handled better, especially in the second half that drags testing your patience.

Movie Review: Full marks to director Karthik for his excellent work of a story that revolves around a girl who is killed at 12am. The director makes an impressive start to the story with the suspense element in the forest, but fails to keep the same tempo in the second half with silly sequences which could be edited by at least 20 minutes.

The story revolves around Shalini (Divya Shridhar), who was killed by Sharan, son of an MLA, at 12am for humiliating him for teasing her. Shalini’s friends, who were with her when Sharan killed her, become her targets as she kills them one after the other in the form of ghost. Why? There is also a romantic touch to the story when Thrishul (Abhimanyu) falls in love with Shalini only to come to know later that he was in love with Shalini’s soul and how she used him to kill Shwetha, her collegemate. There are many such gripping incidents. Karthik could have handled such situations better by avoiding unnecessary sequences in the second half.

While Kashinath is at his best as college professor, Abhimanyu excels as Thrishul. Divya Shridhar’s performance is good. GV Omapathy’s camerawork is pleasing to the eyes.
