Rowoon elaborates on his exit from SF9 to prioritize acting

The newest addition to ‘Jo Hyun-ah’s Thursday Night’ YouTube channel featured actor Rowoon as its guest star, on April 25th

Amidst sipping drinks with Jo Hyun-ah, Rowoon delved into the nuances of acting. Jo Hyun-ah posed a pointed question, asking, "'You turned into an actor basically, right? Was there anyone that made you think that you could transform into an actor?'" This inquiry delved into Rowoon's transition from his former idol group SF9 to pursuing acting.



Rowoon replied by saying, “There wasn’t a particular person but it was just on me. I felt that it’s fun. I had deep thoughts about it for a long time. I knew that there would be risk in the decision. But life is once. I have to take it. I have to prove by working hard”.



When questioned, “How many years did you want to act? Didn’t your first work a hit?”, Rowoon shared, “In the first work, I felt the charming parts of this job”. Opting for, “Extraordinary You” as his favorite drama in his filmography, Rowoon said, “The cast… we were all new actors. The genre was fantasy. When we prepared for filming, we really discussed hard and gathered in a cafe to read the scripts and grabbed a beer after”.
