Singer Parc Jae Jung bids farewell to his fans as he begins on his military service journey today, May 21, stepping into the ranks of active-duty soldiers. In a live broadcast shared on social media just a day prior to his enlistment, Parc Jae Jung emotionally announced, "This will be my final broadcast before I shave my head", as reported by AllKpop.


Reflecting on his journey leading up to this moment, he shared nostalgic feelings, saying, "I've been talking about this since my concert at Jangchung Gymnasium in 2021, and now the time has come". With a preference for a private enlistment, Parc Jae Jung expressed, “I prefer a quiet enlistment, so I'll be going with only my parents and manager".


Addressing his fans, Parc Jae Jung conveyed a message, urging them to patiently await his return, acknowledging the bittersweetness of parting ways temporarily. "Please wait for my return", he said, leaving behind words of reassurance and gratitude for the support he has received throughout his career.

As he enters the military, Parc Jae Jung's enlistment will be marked by its simplicity, with no official events planned apart from the presence of his close family members and manager, emphasizing his desire for a humble and private departure.


Leading up to his enlistment, Parc Jae Jung recently released his latest single 'Still Yours', on May 9. The song, penned and composed by Parc Jae Jung himself, portrays the protagonist from his earlier piece, 'Let's Say Goodbye', as they reconnect with a former love after a period of separation. The ballad-style track has garnered praise from listeners for its heartfelt lyrics and soulful melody.
