A notable entertainment firm has made headlines by alleging that former CEO Min Hee Jin coerced her team to abstain from voting for the Democratic Party, backing their claims with chat logs. Nevertheless, Min Hee Jin has countered these serious charges, branding them a 'political smear' and demonstrating her commitment to the party through evidence of her political engagement.
Former ADOR CEO and that company’s parent management have been in a legal battle for over a year now. While in most of the charges, the court has ruled in favor of the company, there are still a few ongoing issues. In a recent report, it was shared that the management agency had accused the former CEO of trying to coerce the company employee not to vote for the Democratic Party. In a refuting statement, Hee Jin has stated that nothing of the sort happened and that this is an “unrelated political frame” being used against her.

Company accuses her of coercing employees into not voting for the Democratic Party

Recently, as per Chosun Ilbo reports shared online, it was revealed that the management company that houses names like BTS and TXT has accused Min Hee Jin of telling their employees not to support the Democratic Party in the country. They even shared screenshots of a conversation that took place between her and an employee on a popular online messaging app. In the screenshots, Hee Jin allegedly stated, “Why did you vote for the Democratic Party?” as well as “If there’s no party worth voting for, you shouldn’t vote—like me. LOL.”Claims were also made that employees were targeted because of their voting choices as well. A statement related to this from the news report read, “After the election, if anyone said they voted for the Democratic Party, she’d call them in and scold them.
At first, I thought it was a joke, but after being yelled at for three hours at a time, I wondered if I’d even joined the right company.”The evidence was issued in court on November 26, during one of the hearings of the legal dispute between the company and the former CEO.

Min Hee Jin refutes all claims made by the management agency

On November 28, only days after the hearing, the art director took to her social media to deny all claims that had been made by the management agency. She shared a lengthy statement and even shared photos of herself that provided alleged proof that she did not try to influence employees into who they should or should not vote for.She stated, “I have always been a supporter of the Democratic Party, and I personally voted for former President Moon Jae-in.” She shared that she had faced disappointment due to the former President’s administration’s real estate policies in 2020. However, according to her statement, this emotion was “distorted” by the management agency. She also labeled the tactic an “unrelated political frame” meant for her and the company’s legal dispute. She further provided records, photos, and videos of herself attending a rally that had been calling for Yoon Suk Yeol‘s impeachment last winter. She further added that she wore blue on the day of the elections, and had also sent supplies and support to the protestors as well.
