LE SSERAFIM is set to make a big splash this summer! On June 28, Source Music announced that the group is gearing up for a comeback at the end of August.
"LE SSERAFIM is currently preparing for a comeback," stated the agency, adding that the exact release date will be announced soon.
This comeback marks their first in six months since the release of their third mini-album, "EASY," which came out in February. Fans are eagerly awaiting more updates as LE SSERAFIM gets ready to bring fresh music to the scene.
About LE SSERAFIMLE SSERAFIM, formed by Source Music, is a South Korean girl group consisting of five members: Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun-chae. The group debuted on May 2, 2022, with their extended play "Fearless," which set a record for the highest first-day sales for a debut album by a K-pop girl group.
Their second EP, "Antifragile," released in October 2022, was a massive success, selling over a million copies and making them the fastest K-pop girl group to debut on the US Billboard 200. Both title tracks from their first two EPs reached the top ten of South Korea's Circle Digital Chart and earned platinum certification for streaming in South Korea and Japan.
LE SSERAFIM's first studio album, "Unforgiven" (2023), topped the Circle Album Chart and reached the top ten on the Billboard 200. The singles "Unforgiven" and "Eve, Psyche & the Bluebeard's Wife" peaked at number two in South Korea and were certified gold for streaming in Japan. Their first English single, "Perfect Night" (2023), dominated the Circle Digital Chart, staying at number one for six weeks.
In 2024, the group achieved their second number-one album in South Korea and another top-ten album on the Billboard 200 with their third EP "EASY," whose title track became their first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100.
