Kim Jong Kook has bought a house and candidly shared why he chose to pay for it all in cash. Read on to know the reason behind buying such an expensive property in cash.
Kim Jong Kook purchased a new house worth USD 4.32 million
In May earlier this year, as per Allkpop reports, the star had made a purchase worth USD 4.32 million to buy a large luxury villa in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam. Jong Kook recently revealed how he paid the total amount for the house, all in cash. During his appearance on ‘GGANG SIAN’ with Lee Si An, he shared that since he did not want to pay for any extra interest on property loans, he opted to pay for the house in cash, as no mortgage would be registered through this process. He shared, "I didn't want to pay any interest”.
Si An then mentioned how she’s jealous of Jong Kook, and at this point, they both enjoyed a laugh. The two talked about the property even more, with the latter revealing that the purchase was not an investment. He shared during the show that, “Everyone knows. I didn't buy a building, just a house. It wasn't for investment or anything. It was just to live in”.
