Kim Hyun Joong's agency responds to reports of SS501 reunion

According to the latest update in the world of Korean entertainment, Kim Hyun Joong's agency responded to the news about an SS501 reunion.

A media outlet reported that the reunion of the five-person group will be actualized in 2025 to celebrate the 20th debut anniversary of the group. In addition, they will reportedly drop a new album by the end of next year, targeting mainly the Japanese market.

However, HENECIA, Kim Hyun Joong's management agency, retaliated and stated, "We have not received any word regarding the reunion of SS501. We have not been told about it." The agency further mentioned, "Since we do not know, we do not have anything to say," reportedly dismissing rumors of a reunion.

The group SS501 includes Kim Hyun Joong, Park Jung Min, Kim Hyung Jun, Heo Young Saeng, and Kim Kyu Jong. Since its debut in 2005, the group has been one of the most popular bands not only in South Korea but all over the world after big hits like 'Never Again,' 'Snow Prince,' 'Déjà Vu,' and 'Because I'm Stupid.'

The group was separated after the release of the mini-album 'Destination' in May 2010, after their contracts with their previous agency DSP Media expired. The members parted ways since then. However, Kim Kyu Jong, Kim Hyung Jun, and Heo Young Saeng were launched as the unit group SS301 in 2016, where they continued their activities until 2018.

As of now, whether the agency wishes to recognize it or not, fans are ever optimistic about a comeback on the 20th anniversary of the group.
