IVE is about to take Japan by storm with a flurry of exciting activities this summer. The group has just unveiled the music video for their upcoming Japanese single, Crush, which is the lead track from their new mini-album, Alive, scheduled for release on August 28.
In their lively and fun music video, IVE members revel in a pajama party atmosphere, soaking up the sun and showcasing their refreshing looks.
The video captures their youthful and carefree essence, with playful scenes of soap bubble fun and energetic dancing. The confident choreography, particularly in the chorus of 'Crush,' aligns perfectly with the song’s upbeat and vibrant sound.
The track stands out with its infectious pop melody, blending IVE’s signature fresh and charming style with a breezy summer vibe. Crush is set to be the ultimate summer anthem, offering a fun escape from the sweltering heat.
Alive will feature five tracks: the title track Crush, the Japanese original song Will (which is also the opening theme for the Pokémon series in Japan), and Japanese versions of their Korean hits I AM and Off The Record from previous albums.
IVE’s Japanese journey continues with their highly anticipated encore concerts at the Tokyo Dome on September 4 and 5. These shows are the follow-up to their earlier successes across Japan, where they sold out major venues like Fukuoka’s Marine Messe and Osaka’s Osaka-jo Hall, attracting a whopping 78,000 fans.
Before heading to Tokyo Dome, IVE will hit the stage at the Summer Sonic 2024 festival in Osaka and Tokyo on August 17 and 18. This festival performance is part of their first world tour, Show What I Have, which also includes encore performances in Seoul at the KSPO Dome on August 10 and 11.
Since making their Japanese debut in October 2022, IVE has quickly made a name for themselves. Their debut Japanese single, ELEVEN, earned a Gold Disc certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan, and their first Japanese album, WAVE, topped both the Oricon and Billboard Japan charts.
With their upcoming releases and performances, IVE is set to further cement their position in the Japanese music scene, eagerly awaited by fans and critics alike.
