’s 28th birthday today, but the real gift is for his fans as he dropped an emotional solo track titled ‘Abyss’.
In a letter posted on the group’s blog, the singer, opened up about feeling ‘severely burnt out’ as he ‘had a lot of thoughts about himself’.
He said, “Recently, in a press conference, I said ‘I don’t like to share my sad feelings with the fans. This is because I only want to show them the good things. However, I feel differently if it’s through music. I don’t like to share it through my everyday actions, but I think it would be okay to show them through music’.”
He went on to add, “To tell you the truth, I was severely burnt out recently, and I think it was because I had many thoughts regarding myself.’
The
K-Pop star
also revealed that he was having a hard time with his thoughts and wanted to put everything down on paper. With the encouragement from his label boss and help from band-mate
RM, he penned down the lyrics of his latest track.
Lastly, speaking about the track that is high on emotion, Hin said, "It's a bit depressing song that doesn't fit on birthday, but it'll be ambiguous if it's not released on my birthday, so we released 'Abyss'."
Jin released various solo songs such as 'Awake', 'Epiphany', and 'Moon' through his stint with BTS.
