Former member and former idol trainee have officially tied the knot! The celebrity couple’s wedding ceremony has been the talk of the town ever since earlier this year, the duo announced the news on social media.

At the time, it was revealed that the two had been planning an extravagant event for the auspicious occasion, and as per recent reports, the wedding was nothing short of grand and lavish.

Tao and Yiyang tie the knot

Recently, Huang Zitao and Yiyang tied the knot in a beautiful and extravagant wedding. As per the photos shared by the couple online, the wedding seemed to be going by the theme of a fairytale, and had purple coloured theme items all around, making the experience all the more special.

The wedding was held in Sanya, Hainan Province, China, where the couple took their wedding vows on stage in front of their friends, family members, and other loved ones. Yiyang wore a gorgeous white wedding gown with a long and elegant train trailing behind and a long veil attached to her hair. Her makeup was soft and minimal to contrast with the dress and the event. The dress also had woven flowers attached all over the gown, completing the fairytale look. Zitao was seen wearing an all black suit set that exuded elegance on their special day.

Beyond her wedding dress, the singer and actress changed outfits in between and fashioned out a mermaid-style, shoulderless purple dress that was accented with glitter and elegant accessories.

According to Sina News, Yiyang went through a long process of selecting the perfect wedding ceremony dress, and went through 12 gowns to select the one she wore to take her vows. Photos shared online by netizens also made rounds, which showed the wedding castle cake that the couple was seen cutting.

The entire venue was adorned with flowers and other beautiful ornaments as well.
