BLACKPINK member Lisa has just made a new move in her career. According to recent reports, the singer has chosen to join a new agency to focus on her acting career. As per reports released by her management agency, the singer is officially joining one of the biggest American talent agencies. The firm is home to huge names such as Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Christian Bale, Amy Schumer, Ben Affleck. Jessica Alba, Kate Hudson. Hugh Jackman, Denzel Washington, Blake Lively, and many others.


The move has come as a surprise for many, as the singer has only ever done one acting gig in the third season of ‘The White Lotus’, where she played a side role of a hotel staff member in the show. She also recently made history by becoming one of the first K-pop acts in the world to share a performance on the stage of the Oscars.

The announcement of her joining was also shared by her agency through a social media post, along with a new set of headshots. The caption read, “The internationally recognized actor born Lalisa Manobal has signed with WME for representation in her acting endeavors as she continues to build out a career in film and television.”

They also shared that they will only be focusing on the artist’s acting career in films and television, and her music career will continue without their involvement.
