The idol, through her management, shared that she will be going on hiatus until further notice following the traumatic event.Haruna shares a statementAs per a report on Allkpop, Haruna’s agency issued an official statement, that the idol is going to be taking a hiatus until further notice. They also delved into the reason, sharing the shocking news with fans and netizens that the singer’s home was recently broken into.The statement began with the star thanking fans for their understanding in the matter and expressed gratitude for their support. The statement then went on to confirm, “Recently, Haruna was involved in a serious incident. An outsider used physical force to damage the front door at Haruna's residence and break in, threatening her”.“Immediately following the incident, we called the police and relocated Haruna, then had her visit the hospital for an examination”, they continued.They then cited that due to the traumatic incident, the idol’s mental health has been affected, and she would require a break from all activities to recover properly.
They also promised that the matter would be thoroughly looked into and that they would be taking strict legal action against anyone and everyone who was involved in the break-in. “The company is aware of the gravity of this incident and intends to pursue all forms of legal action possible against the perpetrator without leniency”, the statement read.
