BamBam reveals the REAL reason why he unfollowed Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon

In the latest episode of his YouTube show ‘Bam House’, GOT7's BamBam opened up about a surprising decision he made regarding Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, whom he has long admired as a fan. Despite his deep admiration for Taeyeon, which dates back to his days attending her fansigns and openly declaring her as his ‘ideal type’, BamBam confessed to unfollowing her on social media.


During a candid moment with TWICE’s Nayeon, who appeared as a special guest on the show, BamBam enthusiastically agreed with her assertion that Taeyeon was her ideal type. However, a staff member pointed out that BamBam had recently unfollowed Taeyeon on social media, prompting him to explain his unexpected decision.


With a touch of humor, BamBam confessed, "I wanted to focus on my tour", as quoted by Koreaboo. He elaborated that his fandom for Taeyeon was so consuming that he found himself spending too much time watching her updates, which distracted him from his own work commitments. Hence, in a bid to maintain concentration during his tour preparations, BamBam temporarily unfollowed Taeyeon. Netizens found BamBam's explanation endearing and relatable, likening it to students unfollowing their idols during exam periods to concentrate on studies.
