aespa has once again etched their name in the records of Hanteo history with their latest milestone. On May 27 at 6 p.m. KST, the highly-anticipated comeback of aespa unfolded with the release of their first full-length album titled ‘Armageddon’, accompanied by its eponymous title track.


In remarkable evidence to their popularity and fan support, Hanteo Chart swiftly revealed that ‘Armageddon’ had eclipsed the milestone of 1 million copies sold within less than five days of its release. This achievement marked the fourth consecutive album by aespa to surpass the 1 million sales mark within the initial week of its debut.

With this groundbreaking feat, aespa has scripted history once again. Notably, aespa now stands as the premier female act in Hanteo's archives to amass over 1 million first-week sales for four distinct albums. Prior to ‘Armageddon’, aespa had already soared past this feat with their previous mini-album releases: ‘Girls’, ‘MY WORLD’, and ‘Drama’.


Meanwhile, aespa, under the management of SM Entertainment, has emerged as a groundbreaking force in the K-pop scene, pushing boundaries with their blend of hyperpop music and the metaverse concept.
