Pic: You’ll be amazed to see Sonam Kapoor's denim saree

Sonam Kapoor is living every girl’s fashion dream. The star, who has rightly earned her title as Bollywood’s fashionista, once again proved why she reigns supreme. Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor took to her Instagram account to share a picture of Sonam modelling in a modern-day twist of the traditional Indian saree. The actress can be seen in a Masaba Gupta creation - a denim saree, made completely out of recycled jeans. This one-of-a-kind creation which we are certain, will capture the interest of a lot of girls, comes complete with a crop top, pleated pants and pallu. As always, Sonam rocked the outfit wearing minimal jewellery that she paired with brown leather shoes matching her belt.

Sonam Kapoor sizzles at Paris Fashion Week

Sonam Kapoor has made India proud by not just making heads turn at the annual Cannes Film Festival but by also being a regular at the most talked about fashion events across the world. The diva attended the Ralph and Russo Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2016 show alongside rapper Lil’ Kim and model Jourdan Dunn. Sonam looked like a million bucks in a ruffled white oversized Ralph and Russo coat. The 'Neerja' actress who stuck to the colour white at Cannes this year, continued with her fascination for the colour at the fashion week too. She carved out a demure picture in a sheen metallic off shoulder dress from Ralph and Russo’s Fall 2015 collection at the Chopard bash.

Sonam Kapoor turns ramp goddess on birthday

Sonam Kapoor ringed in her 31st birthday by turning into a goddess in gold, quite literally. The fashionista walked the ramp for friend and stylist Pernia Qureshi who launched her debut collection inspired from yesteryear actress Vyjayanthimala’s film ‘Amrapali.’ Looking every bit elegant in the golden one-shoulder attire draped around her curves, Sonam nailed the aesthetic look with a complimentary gajra adorning her tied-back hair. Now that’s what we call celebrating birthday queen size!

Sonam Kapoor: Dresses you would want to steal from her

Sonam Kapoor's peach gown at the Cannes Film Festival was simply 'wow'. The diva wore a light peach off-shoulder, figure-hugging gown with an interesting floral cape on day two at the festival. It was a custom Ralph and Russo gown that was complimented by a detailed cape that fashioned as a train as well.

Sonam Kapoor: Dresses you would want to steal from her

Sonam Kapoor made heads turn in an ice blue Ralph & Russo gown at her first ever appearance at the amfAR Gala during the Cannes Film Festival. However, her choice of jewellery is what caught our attention. The actress accessorised her couture gown with traditional gold jhumkas, making her look like a stunning Disney Princess. Her hair was tied into a french braid and weaved with a golden thread.

Sonam Kapoor: Dresses you would want to steal from her

Showing a lot of skin isn’t necessarily sexy and Sonam Kapoor seems to have conveyed the message effectively when she stepped out in a rather demure fusion ensemble. The diva was a delight in a white printed sari-lehenga paired with a shirt-blouse at the L’Oreal Paris Femina Women Awards press conference. The Raanjhanaa actress sets new fashion trends every time she steps out for an event and this was no exception. Standing tall in the modified traditional attire, Sonam showed the conventional ladies out there that there is a lot of scope to experiment. All you need is the Sonam touch!

Sonam Kapoor: Dresses you would want to steal from her

Sonam is not only good with traditional wear and gowns but is also fond of frocks. The diva sizzled in a Dior frock at the Bewakoofiyaan promotions and looked like a princess who had walked straight out of a fairytale. The self-designed attire not only made her look graceful and demure but also accentuated her curves. With so many choices, Sonam Kapoor’s closet is surely a fashionista’s delight. Which look would you want to steal from her closet?

Sonam Kapoor: Dresses you would want to steal from her

Sonam Kapoor is not obsessed with body-con dresses and picks up dresses which suit her mood and personality. The diva strutted in like a princess in the metallic self-patterned frock at the unveiling of the L’Oreal Sunset Cannes collection in 2013. The Saawariya actress sizzled in the Armani Prive attire and struck a style statement with her hands in the pockets. No matter what she slips into, she makes every look special with her style appeal and confidence.

Sonam Kapoor: Dresses you would want to steal from her

Sonam Kapoor knows how to steal the limelight at every event and she did the same at the FICCI Frames event in 2014. Looking chic and stylish in dhoti pants and a sequined Elizabethan jacket by Anamika Khanna, Sonam was at ease with the rather obscure looking ensemble. She rocked the look with her hair neatly parted at the centre and tied in a bun. The look is very dignified and isn’t something for the weak of heart. It takes a lot of courage to carry off the look convincingly and Sonam managed to do just that.

Sonam Kapoor: Dresses you would want to steal from her

Sonam Kapoor is one of the most daring Bollywood hotties who loves to experiment with her fashion choices. The diva is seldom caught on the wrong foot as far as fashion is concerned. She was covered from neck to toe at the Salvatore Ferragamo Autumn/Winter 2012/2013 fashion show, as part of Milan Womenswear Fashion Week in Milan in 2012, but still managed to sizzle in the three piece suit. With a feminine Elizabethan shirt peeking out from the knee-length overcoat worn over a pair of trousers, paired with nude heels and side curls, Sonam definitely made her presence felt at the prestigious fashion event.

Sonam Kapoor: Dresses you would want to steal from her

Sonam Kapoor’s modified sari look at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014 was a unique one which neither overdid the conventional look, nor reduced the poise and charm of the six yards of the Indian wear. Looking heavenly in the peach-pink Anamika Khanna couture saree, Sonam wooed onlookers with her unique look. Sporting hair that was neatly combed back with a centre parting and minimal makeup, Sonam ensured that she drew attention to all the right places while representing India on the global scene.

Sonam Kapoor: Dresses you would want to steal from her

Sonam Kapoor’s translucent white gown that she wore for the premiere of the Oscar winning film, The Artist, at the Cannes Film Festival in 2011, will always remain one of the best red carpet looks sported by the diva. Dazzling in the white Jean Paul Gaultier couture gown with a dramatic pattern, Sonam was the cynosure of all eyes at the event. She looked svelte and stylish in the off shoulder gown, inching ahead of the competition in the red carpet game.

Sonam Kapoor: Dresses you would want to steal from her

Sonam Kapoor seems to be a pro at spicing up traditional wear with a touch of western drama. The diva cut a pretty picture at the Soiree Warm Up L'Oreal during the Cannes Film Festival in 2014, where she sported a black-and-white silk and sheer attire. Looking ravishing in the modern lehenga by Shehlaa Khan, Sonam not only stood out from the gown-clad brigade but was equally sensuous in the off-shoulder costume that was wisely paired with a sheer shrug. Chopard diamonds complemented the ensemble and balanced out the contemporary look with some classic element.

Sonam Kapoor: Dresses you would want to steal from her

Sonam Kapoor’s pastel blue look at the Chopard party during the Cannes Film Festival in 2014 was a decent one. The diva towered over the others in the demure Elie Saab ensemble. Opting for the minimal look, Sonam was a vision in the floor-length, off-shoulder gown which added to her tall frame. With a simple Chopard necklace and pink lips, Sonam avoided the frills. Though the attire flattened her curves, the bow patterned top accentuated her assets.

Sonam Kapoor: Dresses you would want to steal from her

Sonam Kapoor is a Cannes regular, just like actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. But every time Sonam descends upon the red carpet in France, she steals the limelight with her charismatic presence. The diva was at her fashionable best in 2015 when she walked the red carpet in the dramatic blue Ralph and Russo gown. Highlighting her thin waist in the wrapped around top and uneven skirt with a long trail, the Khoobsurat actress made all heads turn with her sensuous presence. Paired with matching Zanotti heels and sapphire and diamond jewellery, the diva made headlines in the international fashion scene.
