When Lucknowites gave a standing ovation to a play!

Play titled 'Waiting For Godot' staged at Bhartendu Natya Akademi was a full house show. Written by Irish playwright Samuel Beckett under the direction of Bhartendu Kashyap, the play was based on the absurdities of life. The play portrayed how the life of any human being gets affected by any kind of war or massacre.

Talking about the play, Bhartendu said, "I was really scared to stage this play as I was not sure if people will like it or not.But when we got a standing ovation, it was enough to tell me how much people loved the play. They even asked me to stage it again in Lucknow."
