Director and performer of the play, Keiin Yoshimura, says, "The play is based on the poem Genbaku-Shishu written by Japanese poet

Sankichi Toghe

, who was a survivor of the atomic attack. Even after 70 years of attack, there is still a need to remember the tragedy which struck Japan, since world peace is still the demand of the present times. There is so much strife in the world, through this play we intend to spread the message of peace."
