Theatre lovers in the city witnessed a Hindi play titled 'Aadhe Adhure' written by

Mohan Rakesh

and directed by

Girish Chandra Srivastava

at Rai Umanath Bali auditorium recently. The story revolved around a middle-class family in which all five family members are caught into the vicious circle of destitution. They live life on their own terms, nourishing their egos, ambitions and chasing their dreams. The play was staged in association with the Union Ministry of Culture. Achla Bose, Ashok Lal, Deepika Srivastava, Shivi Srivastava, Dhruv Singh, Prabhat Kumar, Anand Prakash and Tariq Iqbal played key roles.
