Play Panchlight staged in Lucknow

A play titled '

Panchlight

' was recently staged at

Rai Umanath Bali Auditorium

in Qaiserbagh. Directed by Sanjay Tripathi, the one-hour fifteen-minute play attracted a large number of theatre lovers from the city who enjoyed the show throughout.
The play was based on a short story by

Phanishwar Nath ‘Renu’

which revolved around a petromax, which was used for light in the late 19th century. Staged in Awadhi language, the audience was spotted enjoying every scene with the same zeal.

While Sachin earned a lot of appreciation for playing the role of Godhan, Anamika and Rashmi surprised everyone with their acting skills while playing Munri and Gulri Kaki, respectively.
