Play

director

Ashok Pandey calls its political-satire. He explains, “This play is centered around six people. Five of them are police and one girl is a reporter. The play unravels with the police having caught a man and they want him to admit that he had caused a bomb blast in Chandigarh. One of the characters, an editor, knows the police may be covering up something. A reporter comes into the police station and starts to ask questions. The dialogues and moments have been planned in such a way that it leaves the audience thinking, too.”

Rutuja Awaghad, who plays the reporter, says, “Mine is a very interesting role. I play an interesting character who is trying to get to the root of the case. She does not take the information and answers that are given by the cops blankly. Instead, she comes up with smart questions. And the audience is sure to end up with the same questions and feelings that she has, about the case.” The rest of the cast comprises Sanjay Gurbaxani, Shashank Parihar, Tushar Sharma, Prashant Singh and Akshat Mishra.
