This is probably a scene that plays out in most homes, today. The mother of the house does everything she can and yet she keeps getting taken for granted. This is also the plot of Nimesh Shah’s new social comedy ‘

Ek Chatur Naar Bhare Hoshiyaar

’, that is set to be staged this Sunday at Aspee auditorium, Malad.
‘Ek Chatur...’ is the story of an ordinary house wife, who has an approach. It revolves around a mother who is very simple and loving, but when she’s being taken for granted she decides to teach a lesson in her own style. Talking about the play, Nimesh says, “The audience is sure to love this fun-loving comedy drama that has a pinch of smartness. It’s actually a family-cum-courtroom drama, as it brings about a case between a

mother-in-law

and a

daughter-in-law

. However, the treatment in it is such that it’s quite hilarious. We are also giving out a message to society through the

play

about respecting parents and in-laws. The play has done 118 shows over the last four months in Mumbai, Gujarat and even in

Dubai

, and people loved it. Hopefully we will take it to the USA and Canada from February to April.”
