This weekend, a drama festival will be held in Mumbai to honour and commemorate the late director-actor
Dinesh Thakur and playwright Dr Shankar Shesh.
Dinesh Thakur’s group completes 40 years of contribution to Hindi theatre this year and so, it will host two of its most popular productions, 'Jaat Hi Poochho Sadhu Ki' and 'Hai Mera Dil' on October 1 and 2 at the NCPA.
At the same fest, on Oct 2, which is Dr Shesh’s birth anniversary, two plays written by him that exemplify the nature of his work, will be staged. One is the Marathi play 'Komal Gandhar' and the other is 'Raktabeej', which will be in Hindi.
