If looks can kill and also captivate a crowd, then five gorgeous actresses on stage is quite a mesmerising factor. A new entertainer, '

Hello Zindagi

' will premiere in the city on Saturday, 11th May 2019 at Tata

Theatre

and it's got a power-packed cast of film and television actresses including Minissha Lamba, Kishwer Merchant,

Delnaaz Irani

, Guddi Maruti and Chitrashi Rawat. These ladies will spew some gut-wrenching drama as they lead the audience on an unforgettable journey filled with intrigue, comedy, confusion and passion. It revolves around these five women of different backgrounds and characteristics who are staying together in a posh flat in Mumbai. You have Pammi Singh played by Minissha Lamba, a former film actress and now a TV star who is divorced and living with Baakula (Delnaaz Irani), her ex mother-in-law. The two are great buddies and enjoy their lives. Shivani (Chitrashi Rawat) also stays in the apartment and is the most sensible member of it. She only runs the place, but also manages Bakula's hotel business. Another dweller in the home is Pammi’s school friend Sheena (played by Kishwar Merchant) who hails from Simla and has been badly abused by her husband as a result of which she has no self-confidence. Bijoya Di (Guddi Maruti) is the household help who keeps it together."

The harmony in their home gets into a disarray when Vicky (Rahul Nayyar) comes in and falls in love with Pammi. He wishes to marry her and take her to America. Audiences get to see what happens next as they enjoy the lives of these folks.

The play has been written by

television actress

Smita Bansal, who's marking her debut as a

scriptwriter

in theatre. It will be directed by film, television and theatre director Raman Kumar. He says, "Through 'Hello Zindagi!' we have tried to portray that God has made life beautiful, but it's we who create problems for ourselves. It also shows that there are no shortcuts in life, the simpler life is also the happier it will be. It was a pleasure collaborating with

Smita Bansal

on her debut theatrical script and I am sure her story will be appreciated by one and all."
