An inspiring act!

A drama based on the life of Bhikhari Thakur, an Indian playwright, lyricist, actor, folk singer, and dancer, was staged as part of the 8th Theatre Olympic organised by National School of Drama at Nagari Natak Mandali, Varanasi. 'Batohi', a Bhojpuri play directed by Abhay Sinha, traced the creative journey of Thakur, who had to undergo a lot of travails to reach a position of eminence.
