A spellbinding act for Lucknowites

A play 'Bin Baati Ke Deep' was staged at Sangeet Natak Akademi in Gomti Nagar. Directed by Sangam Bahuguna, the play was written by Shankar Shesh. The spellbinding acts of veteran actors Mamta Praveen, Ambrish Bobby and Vikas Srivastava were to watch out for.

The play revolved around four characters, a poet, a writer, an army officer and the poet’s secretary.Shiv, the poet marries Vishakha, the writer, who is blind. The climax unfolds when Anand, Shiv’s friend, finds out that Shiv had been publishing Vishakha’s articles under his name and also has indulged in an affair with his secretary, Manju. The play had a happy ending where Vishakha accepts Shiv despite his wrongdoings.
