Delhi may be a favourite with Bollywood filmmakers for its historical sites and everyday vibe, but Mumbai too has its charms that B-Town finds hard to resist. Case in point is the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been a muse for many a filmmaker. The latest one to use it as a setting is director Abhishek Sharma.

. The cast of the film includes actors like Manoj Bajpayee and Diljit Dosanjh. Abhishek initially considered recreating the station, but then changed his mind because the film is set in the '90s, and according to him

Victoria Terminus

was the perfect venue. His team procured the necessary permission from Central Railway before the shoot. The railway authorities cordoned off platform number 10 for the two-day stint that was shot from 7 am to 7 pm. They also provided a special train with a diesel engine, which was typical of the '90s, unlike the current electric ones. Sharma insists he made sure that his crew did not violate the ground rules.
