Shilpa Rao, who spilled beans on what she thinks about revamping songs.
“Well, I am actually quite a believer and supporter of original music and I feel that there is so much talent in this country, be it composer, lyricist, singers, videomakers, producers.etc. Creating something new is always an enriching experience, so yeah I am a huge and strong supporter of original music,” said the singer.
“I also feel that when I look into the future and there will be a lot who will see my work and I want them to see it is as something that stands out. I totally believe in and support that,” she added.
In the same conversation, Shilpa told us about the genre of music that changed her life. She said, “The whole genre of Ghazals has changed my life for sure. There is something which I have thoroughly enjoyed and loved since I was a kid and I still have that affection to Ghazals and Urdu poetry, so that is something which I don't think will ever change.”
Seems like Shilpa Rao is still a fan of some old school charms, and the magic of the same appears in her work today.
