Zahrah S Khan: I have to make 2024 even better than 2023!

Singer-actor Zahrah S Khan is all set to bid farewell to 2023 on a high note. Reason? The world will celebrate too, on her birthday, as it rings in the New Year.

“It really makes me feel special because it’s double the fun - we all look forward to a New Year but in my case it’s like New Year plus my birthday, so double the celebration,” she says talking about bringing in her birthday on January 1.

She adds, “The goal on my birthday is, ‘let’s make this year even better than the last one’! I think time is beautiful and as years pass by, we learn and grow so much as human beings, so it’s a beautiful teaching that time blesses you with.”

Zahrah, yesteryear actor-singer Salma Agha's daughter, is known for her Bollywood songs Kusu Kusu from Satyameva Jayate 2 (2021), The Punjaabban Song from Jugjugg Jeeyo (2022), Kudiyee Ni Teri (Selfiee, 2023) with The PropheC and others. Earlier this year, she also performed live for her fans at the Rema concert held in Mumbai.

Zahrah, who marked her acting debut with Aurangzeb (2013) along with Arjun Kapoor, is looking forward to an international collab while she gears up for the release of her film in 2024. “I like to make every year better than the last! 2023 will always be special because it gave me ‘Love Stereo Again’ and ‘Vrushabha! And 2024 is again giving me another amazing year that kickstarts with an amazing artist I’m about to collab with, plus the release of my film. I have got to make 2024 even better than 2023!”
