Yo Yo Ma’s coming to India

Yo Yo Ma, the world renowned cellist and multiple Grammy winner, is expected to visit India next year.
Tabla player Sandeep Das, who has been associated with Yo Yo Ma’s concerts in the past, told us, “Yo Yo Ma will be in India next year. But frankly, this will not be his first visit to India. He has visited India earlier too, but it was a hush-hush affair, so nobody knew about it.But this time, we plan to bring him to India and he has expressed his interest in performing before an audience. He is very fond of Indian music and is keen to do an Indian musical tour.”
