Vijender Singh wasn't informed about music video launch

He never ceases to be in news, be it for winning major titles or for sharing the stage with SRK, for his much-awaited and talked-about film debut or for shooting from the lip.... The latest is a music video shot two years back that has gotten boxing champ Vijender Singh talking. Excerpts from an interview:
A just-released music video has upset you a lot...
Yes, I have been upset because I was not even informed that the video was being released now.I shot for it two years back. It was not released then. And now, when it was being released, forget about inviting me to the launch, I was not even informed.
What went wrong?
The video was about café culture. A few scenes that were shot at a café were not to my liking. I wasn’t comfortable, so I told the makers to not include those scenes and they agreed to it. I trusted them and that is where I went wrong. I felt cheated and so I thought of taking legal action against them.
So you have taken legal action?
No, I have not.
What made you change your mind then?
Yes, I did say I will be taking legal action. I was very angry when I got to know that the video was released without informing me because I had some objections to a few scenes in the video. I later gave it a thought and realized that it’s useless. The video is already released. They have done what they had to, what’s
the use of a hungama now?
Susheel Jangira, the video’s lead actress opposite you has said, “...If he didn’t know what he was shooting for then why did he remove his shirt for the shoot? He’s just frustrated since his Bollywood career has not taken off.” Comment.

Are you friends with her?
Friends? No way. We don’t speak. She is not my friend.
How did your wife react to the link-up?
She reacted like an understanding wife.
Controversies are part of the entertainment and glamour world, do they make you apprehensive in any way?
No, not at all. I know very well that controversies will remain a part of my life, so I am used to it. Darne ka kuch nahi hai.
Your Bollywood career has been on hold...
That’s because I have been focusing on boxing and well, everybody knows I am a good actor toh film bhi ho jayegi kabhi na kabhi.
Who gave you this compliment?
No one. I am complimenting myself. It’s a known fact (laughs).
How is married life?
It’s good. I am happy.
So, have you stopped flirting now?
Hey, I never flirted, no no no. And I don’t flirt anymore (laughs).
