Circa 1965, popular Urdu poet and Hindi lyricist and songwriter, Sahir Ludhianvi celebrated his birthday with close friends Jan Nisar Akhtar (Javed Akhtar's father and noted poet), writer and director CL Rawal and music composer Omi of Omi-Sonik.
The picture, from composer Omi’s collection brings back memories of the cultural evenings of yesteryear Bollywood where poets and music writers would come together to exchange thoughts over a bottle of good ol' coca cola.

Padma Shri Ludhianvi (second from left) seemed to be a happy man on his birthday with good friend and fellow Urdu poet Akhtar to his left. Omi, sporting a sweater over his shirt and holding a bottle of cola embodied the spirit of the 60s - happy and relaxed. While the three music makers (writers and the composer) discussed their art, filmmaker CL Rawal (in a suit) looked a little left out. Though the man sure looked like he was enjoying the exchange of ideas as well.
