Stebin Ben shuts down dating rumours with Nupur Sanon, says their bond is purely platonic: 'Yes, I am single'

Singer Stebin Ben has officially addressed long-standing speculation about his relationship with Nupur Sanon, and fans hoping for a love story might be a little disappointed. In a recent conversation with Hindustan Times, the Rula Ke Gaya Ishq singer put all rumours to rest, confirming that he is, in fact, single.


Work Over Romance
Stebin made it clear that his busy professional life leaves little room for romance. “As an artist, it is very difficult for me right now to really take out time for a relationship. When you’re on the road for 25 days out of 30 in a month, you really don’t have time to focus on anything else but the road," he said, explaining how his packed tour schedule and commitment to music take top priority.


Despite their close bond, Stebin clarified that he and Nupur Sanon, sister of actress Kriti Sanon, are just good friends. “We have an amazing equation. I’ve spent a lot of time with her, and I don’t think I have that kind of bond with anyone else,” he admitted, but reiterated that the connection is purely platonic.


Not Ruling Out Love
Though he's currently single, Stebin didn’t completely shut the door on love. “Who knows what will happen in the future?” he mused, adding that time is the only thing standing between him and a relationship right now. “Waqt waqt ki baat hai. If I get the time, maybe I’ll be able to give that time to this as well. For now, I think music is my priority.”


In an earlier interview with Filmy Gyan, Stebin responded to a fan’s comment asking if Nupur inspired his love songs. Laughing, he said, “Yes, of course I am single. Main aaj tak aisa bola nahi, pata nahi logon ne kaise assume kiya.”
Instagram Buzz Fueled Speculation
The dating rumours began circulating back in 2022, sparked by cozy Instagram photos and their visible camaraderie. However, both Stebin and Nupur have always maintained that they share a strong friendship—not a romantic relationship.
