Asha Bhosle is singing it. The song is a duet with a new singer Veena Bhatia.
Talking about his stint with the legendary singer, Shreayas said, “I met her at my studio and she was kind enough to grace my melody with her golden voice. It was like dream to watch her sing live and working with her at this stage has fulfilled my childhood dream.”
When asked about his instructions to her as the composer, he quipped, “I couldn’t tell her anything as I was speechless in front of her. It took me some time to calm my nerves down. I was very nervous as she was going to sing the turn composed by me.”
Asha Bhosle has had a remarkable journey in the Hindi film industry as a singer and she shared inspiring anecdotes with the composer. “After finishing the song dub, she sang and shared a lot of old times experiences and her likes and dislikes. She also spoke about today’s music and complimented my tune saying, they don’t such songs nowadays. She shared stories of old times. Her remarkable journey and experience has been a great source of inspiration and learning for all us.” Shreyas reiterated that it was a blessing to spend an entire evening with her in the studio and witnessing some real music.
