In an interaction with DNA India, Sameer Anjaan talked about the state of contemporary Bollywood music. Without holding back, he said, "Aaj kal shor bahut badh gaya hai. Sound mein shabd kho gaye hain (These days, the noise has increased so much that words are getting lost in the sound)."He pointed out that lyrics are increasingly being drowned out by loud, overpowering music, and this imbalance is hurting not just individual songs but entire films, given how deeply music shapes a movie's success.Sameer concluded with a stark warning that unless the industry consciously restores the balance between melody and meaningful lyrics, the soul of Hindi film music will keep fading.
