Saloni Thakkar: Keeping myself busy with work helps me maintain my sanity

Singer Saloni Thakkar, who rendered the title track in Veere Di Wedding (2018) and So Gaya Ye Jahan in Bypass Road (2019) earlier has come with a lockdown cover of the song 'Lut Gaye' originally sung by Jubin N, Tanishk B, Manoj M and Bhushan K. She says, "It's a difficult time for artists and keeping yourself busy with work helps me keep my sanity intact. I chose music which touched my heart and 'Lut Gaye' is one of them."

She is a big fan of Lata Mangeshkar and also a trained classical singer. This year, her film songs have been put on hold due to the pandemic. The singer is eagerly waiting for her songs to release soon. Meanwhile, she urges everyone to just keep themselves positive and creative. Saloni believes that singing is not about having a good voice but about having a good heart and a good soul. “I love my audience and I will be doing my best as a singer and I also pray for the people who are suffering from the pandemic. I believe things will really be fine and everybody will be in a good space.”
