Paying tributes to two-time Oscar-winning composer James Horner, who died in a plane crash, Grammy winner Ricky Kej today said the legacy of the Hollywood music director will continue through his music and his melodies will never be forgotten. "He is going to live on through his music and his melodies will never be forgotten for thousands of years," he told PTI here.

Horner, whose first break came with the score for 1982's "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan", worked with some of the biggest directors in film, including George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, Ron Howard and Oliver Stone.

TOIEntertain Horner can be remembered as a melodious and thematic composer, Kej said.
"I definitely remember him as a melodious composer because melody was very very strong in his music," Kej added.

"His combination with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and James Cameron, was really beautiful.... Titanic, Terminator and Avatar, all were spectacular scores," he said.
