Remembering the Bard

Debajyoti Mishra is on cloud nine. The composer is happy to announce, In celebration of Tagore's 150th birth anniversary, today my musical composition for The Child will be staged with choreographic vision by the internationally acclaimed danseuse Tanushree Shankar.
The programme is set to happen at the Science City auditorium in the evening. Tanusree Shankar will be giving her rendition of The Child, which she says is her modern take on the same.The composer also wrote on a microblogging site: 22 e Srabon, on the same date in 1941, Tagore the great man of history serving the world at fullest returned to the great heritage of humanity.
