Indian rapper Raftaar has reportedly pulled the plug on his marriage to interior designer Komal Vohra after six years together.
According to the latest reports, the couple decided to part ways and end their marriage after living separately for some time, states a report in Hindustan Times. “Both have moved on in their respective lives and the couple, along with their families, remain cordial,” a source told the portal.
Reports claim that the couple had filed for divorce in 2020, but there was a delay in formalities owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. The report further adds that former flames will sign their divorce papers on October 6, 2022.
While Raftaar and Komal wait to be declared legally single, the two have already unfollowed each other on social media and even deleted their photos together.
Sparks flew between Komal and Raftaar when they met in 2011 at a friend's party. After five years together, the couple got engaged and quickly wed in a secret ceremony in 2016.
Raftaar shocked fans with his marriage announcement that was shared that came in the form of a social media post that read, "Married to my soulmate." He also shared a happy picture from his dreamy wedding.
"Both have moved on in their respective lives and the couple, along with their families, remain cordial," the report further claimed.
An official statement from the couple is still awaited.
