Punjabi singer Gurdas Mann enjoys Delhi weddings

Punjabi singer Gurdas Mann, who was in the capital recently, explained to us why he comes to the capital less often now than earlier. We met him during his stop at an apparel store here, when he was busy getting himself clicked with the excited fans surrounding him.
He later told us, “This warmth that you get when you meet people like this, it is really humbling.”
Talking about his Gurgaon experiences, he said, “Initially, every time (I had) to go abroad or travel, yahaan airport se flight lete the, aate jaate chakkar lagte rehte the. Ab thode kum ho gaye hain. Ab toh Chandigarh mein hi airport hai, wahin se nikal jaate hain.”
But he still enjoys performing in Delhi and Gurgaon, especially during the wedding season. “Yahaan ki shaadiyaan bahut sundar hoti hain, unka hissa hona achha lagta hai,” he said.
