The function included close family friends and family members of both the families.
Rizwan shared his experience, “I believe Nivritti Kumari is a huge fan of ours and it was on her request that we agreed to perform at the function. It was well organized and a rare sight for us to see guests at the party from various royal families all dressed in their traditional attire.”
Muazzam added, “It was great to watch the guests at the party appreciating our music. We sang some of the popular songs of Ustad Nusrat Saab. We understand the wedding will be held in month of January and Inshallah we should be back again. So far we haven’t been asked to perform at the wedding.”
Rizwan and Muazzam, who visited the Nizamuddin Dargah in Delhi on Wednesday evening, said, “This is our second visit to the Nizamuddin Dargah. We came here last year but couldn’t spend much time, this time we got our band members along.” Syed Asgar Ali Nizami, official member of the dargah committee, said, “Rizwan aur Muazzam is baar dargah main baba ko haazri dene aaye hai. Is baar unhone kaha hai ki woh apne qawwali dargah main
perform karenge.”
