Pakistani singer Goher Mumtaz turns an actor

After popularity of Tanhai, Pakistani singer turned actor Goher Mumtaz of Jal rock band is all set to start his second drama serial in Pakistan titled ‘Cookie’. He will be playing the lead role opposite Saba Qamar who is a popular TV artist in the Pakistani drama industry.
The singer who launched himself as an actor in Hum TV's popular drama serial Tanhai is all excited about his upcoming serial Cookie.
Goher says, "I’m enjoying both –singing and acting career. It has been a great learning period for me. Cookie will be shot in Karachi and Turkey. Right now, Ramazan has begun so we shall resume the shoot of the serial only now after Ramazan."
How does he balance both music and acting at the same time and Goher adds, "Well even during shooting days i do practice vocals as per morning routine for an hour and take mu guitar along at the sets. I think its about managing yourself and understanding the importance of my role as a guitarist and as an a actor. Even though I have been getting lot of offers to serials in Pakistan however I only prefer do one serial in a year. Meanwhile I have also done a telefilm with actress Sanam Saeed.”
Any Bollywood plans and Goher says, "Why not, I would love to work in B-town. It will be like a dream." Goher who got engaged last year plans to tie the knot by next year.
