Composers Nishith Hegde, Ashwin Shriyan come up with debut single on #CoronaCrisis

After working in the music industry for almost a decade and teaming up with some of GenY’s popular singers like Amit Mishra, Siddharth Mahadevan,

Ashwin Shriyan

, have now come up with their debut single.

Elaborating on the song Nishith, who has also sung the track says, “‘Ye Pal’ is a topical song due to the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis that we are facing. Our song has a very clear message that I think, is relatable to everyone in current times. It’s about living in the moment, and not dwelling in the darkness and negativity that is around us today. It’s about making the most of today and finding positivity in the darkest of times.”

Ashwin adds, “Most of us are so pinned down to routines that we forget who we truly are. This song is about self-realisation and living life to the fullest where nothing is compromised, nor lost.”

The duo has tasted success earlier, having composed jingles for well-known big brands including credit cards, chocolates, cars and clothing. Composing their maiden single seemed to be the natural course of action for Nishith and Ashwin.
