Mika Singh was named a suspect in a hit-and-run case in Mumbai, after a Hummer allegedly driven by him knocked down an autorickshaw, leaving a passenger with serious injuries.
The Hummer, was later found abandoned, Mumbai police said they have eye-witnesses, including two cops, who saw Mika running from the spot. The singer comes forward on the front foot to defend himself.
“I returned from Dubai on 9th morning and walked out of the airport at 6 am to go home in my Fortuner car. Apparently, this accident happened at 5am. I don’t even know the owner of this Hummer in question. God forbid if I ever get involved in an accident myself, I’m not someone who will run away from there. So far, no one from the police has contacted me for anything,” he says.
