. The soundtrack comprises four songs, all of them diverse and unconventional, when compared to the kind of

music

that’s churned out these days. A lot of attention has been paid towards the composition, which features a healthy mix of acoustic and electronic music. What’s impressive is the versatile use of the flute, which is a common thread that binds the soundtrack.

Penned by Shabbir Ahmed, the first song, Mera Sufi Ishq, has been rendered by Shalmali Kholgade. While the singer lives up to her job, the
composition sounds familiar and dated. It reminds us of the kind of songs that released in the early 2000.

Ya Khudara Maaf Kar is a typical Kailash Kher song. It’s a soulful track with impressive lyrics penned by the director-composer Shekhar. Kailash’s vocals are soul-stirring. The extensive use of the flute works in favour of this soothing number.

Sung, penned and composed by director-composer Shekhar, Aye Zindagi has a pacy beat. The number has all the ingredients to make it to a long-drive playlist.

Isey Naam Doon Kya has been sung by Jagpreet Bajwa and written by Rajesh Manthan. It’s an organic composition, with a lot of acoustic arrangements. The song takes a Sufi turn mid-way, which is refreshing.
