Music Is my passion: Jimmy Felix

Had it not been for his friends, this brawny singer, who loves to be called a ‘stage-man’ would have been working in the financial sector. Remember Jimmy Felix from the band ‘Aasma’ who shot to fame after winning a reality show. While Jimmy was in the city, he told us, “I was happy with the small band I had in Jaipur, and after completing my MBA, I was set to join a bank, when my friends forced me to go for the reality show audition in my hometown i.e.Jaipur.” Adds Felix, I had no formal training in singing and I was apprehensive of going for the auditions. But after he was selected, this Jaipur-based singer has never looked back. “Music is my passion and this passion is now my profession,” says a happy Jimmy. Apart from doing shows across the country, Jimmy has formed an Indo-rock band named “AGHAAZ” with six members. Felix feels that the taste of Indian music is quickly changing and now people like rock music. To a great extent, he adds, these days even Bollywood songs are heavily inspired by rock music.
