Music director Johnson’s son dies in bike accident

Ren Johnson, son of late music director Johnson was killed in a bike accident. The incident happened in Chennai around 1 pm on Saturday where Ren was working as an engineer. He was the sole bread-winner of the family after veteran music composer Johnson sir passed away in a heart attack last August.
According to the sources, the music composer’s family was going through a bad patch after his premature death and ace directors Kamal and Sathyan Anthikkad were working together for the family’s welfare.
It is to be recalled that Johnson sir took more than a generation through myriad emotions with his range of notes that effortlessly moved from romance to mysticism for 40 years. He was the winner of two national and five state awards.
Ren was residing in Chennai with his mother Rani and only sister Shan.
