Mrunal Jain and Malvi Malhotra shoot a music video in Varanasi

fame, and Mrunal Jain, seen in teleshows Bandini and Uttaran, have paired up for this project. The music and direction is by Raaj Aashoo, who has recently canned his film, Woh Teen Din, starring Sanjay Mishra and Chandan Roy Sanyal in the city.
Malvi, who is back at work after four months, says, “I was bored of sitting at home, so when I got a call from Aashoo sir for this shoot, I jumped with excitement. It was a spontaneous decision to come to Varanasi. I was not scared to resume work as the entire crew was in the city since the last 20-days. They were all healthy and hearty so I was not worried. Moreover, they told me that the situation was much better where the shoot was happening, than in Mumbai. Following all the safety protocols we completed the shoot comfortably.”
The Udaan actress, who is on her second visit to Varanasi, rues that she was not able to go around the city due to the pandemic scare. “During my earlier visit in March, before the lockdown, I had visited

Kashi Vishwanath Temple

and had attended the Ganga arti as well. I had feasted on some super delicious street food. This time I am missing all that but I hope to return soon once things move to normalcy,” she says.
